Services offered§ 1
Collette Professional Accounting is a single-practitioner CPA firm located in Bedford, New Hampshire. We provide professional accounting services including tax preparation, tax planning, IRS problem resolution, audit representation, and related advisory services to individuals and businesses. We do not sell physical goods.
Client engagement§ 2
The specific scope, fees, and deliverables for any professional engagement are set forth in a separate written engagement letter signed by both parties. The engagement letter, together with these Terms, constitutes the agreement between you and Collette Professional Accounting. In the event of a conflict, the engagement letter controls.
Fees and payment§ 3
Fees for our services are quoted in advance or based on time and complexity as described in your engagement letter. Invoices are issued through our client portal and are payable upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payments may be made by credit card, ACH, or other methods made available through our portal. All amounts are billed in U.S. dollars.
Refunds, cancellations, disputes§ 4
Our refund, cancellation, and dispute procedures are described in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Client responsibilities§ 5
You agree to provide complete, accurate, and timely information necessary for us to perform the engaged services. We rely on the information you provide and are not responsible for errors or omissions resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information. You are responsible for the final review and approval of any tax return or filing prepared on your behalf prior to its submission.
Confidentiality§ 6
We treat all client information as confidential in accordance with applicable professional standards and our Privacy Policy.
No guarantee of outcomes§ 7
Tax laws and regulations are subject to interpretation and change. While we apply professional care and current knowledge in the preparation of returns and the rendering of advice, we cannot guarantee any particular tax outcome, refund amount, or result of an IRS matter.
Limitation of liability§ 8
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the fees paid by you to us for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Service area and jurisdiction§ 9
We serve clients located in the United States. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Hampshire.
Changes to these Terms§ 10
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
